Frequently asked questions about careers at Studierendenwerk Münster
Should I apply even if I don't meet all the requirements?
Yes, definitely! Job advertisements describe the ideal candidate, but we know that nobody is perfect. It is crucial that you have the basic qualifications such as the required training, degree or school-leaving certificate. We can discuss everything else together. You may have skills or experience that we have not yet considered and that could enrich us. Everyone has individual strengths – show us yours!
What does "part-time possible" mean in the job advertisement?
For us, “part-time possible” means that we can respond flexibly to your individual needs. The exact number of hours and the distribution of work will be determined in consultation with you in order to meet both your personal requirements and operational needs.
Can I apply even though I have a longer notice period with my current employer?
Absolutely! For qualified and committed team members, we are happy to take the time and wait for you to join us. A longer notice period is no obstacle for us.
When will I receive feedback on my application?

I have been asked to submit documents and do not have them to hand. What do I do now?
Unfortunately, you will have to keep looking for training certificates, certificates of study or school-leaving certificates, as these are urgently needed for your application. For work references, we are happy to receive any that you have. If individual references are missing, this is not a problem. Just let us know.
