Versatile training

We have been supporting students since 1922 and offer you a variety of exciting tasks as part of your training at Studierendenwerk Münster. We are looking for motivated people who enjoy new experiences and like working in an international team. With us, you can expect a secure job, good pay and a good work-life balance.

We have been training apprentices for over 35 years and have been very successful: since 2014, one of our apprentices has repeatedly been one of the best in NRW according to the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK).

Our apprenticeships

What you can expect:

  • You will work in all administrative areas and can try out everything. You will find a permanent position, e.g. in accounting, housing administration or customer service.
  • Tasks such as writing letters, organizing appointments, processing invoices and creating presentations make your day-to-day work varied and exciting.
  • A structured schedule helps you to recognize your strengths and weaknesses – and helps you to develop further.

  • Broad training spectrum from “classic” accounting, human resources and purchasing to “non-specialist” areas such as hotel or warehouse

What you can expect:

  • With us, you will think outside the box: in addition to all areas of the hotel, you will also get to know our administrative areas, as commercial and business management topics are also focal points of the training.
  • This will quickly show you what your strengths are. Do you prefer to work in the catering industry or would you rather be a salesperson?
  • You’re the one who pulls all the strings: You keep an overview of processes and ensure that guests are satisfied.

What you can expect:

  • You have a wide choice here: You will work in various areas of our bistros, canteens and cafés.
  • The apprenticeship combines manual work in the kitchen with commercial tasks in administration.
  • You will learn how to create recipes, plan staff and organize purchasing.
  • In addition to the catering facilities, you will also work in accounting, purchasing and in the human resources department of the Studierendenwerk

What you can expect

  • You keep the chef’s back free. Your tasks are cutting vegetables, frying meat or stirring sauces.
  • You have to be able to rely on each other in the kitchen: You are part of the team and play your part in its success.
  • The training is practice-oriented and is aimed at people with disabilities.

  • Main areas of responsibility: Supporting cooks in the canteen kitchen, the event business and the cafés

What you can expect

  • You are an important, essential and loving part of the development of the children you look after.
  • You are part of a team in one of our daycare centers and develop concepts for the mental and physical development of the children.
  • The theoretical training takes place at Anne-Frank-Berufskolleg.
  • You will learn how to observe and document children’s development in order to support them individually.

What you can expect

  • You will learn how to install and integrate hardware and software components into existing systems
  • Work in first and second level support
  • You monitor and maintain networks and ensure IT security
  • You create and maintain technical documentation, such as network diagrams
  • You work on IT and cross-divisional projects
