The student residence is in a quiet area in the north-west of Münster, but still close to the city centre. There are a lot of university facilities nearby, e.g. the university sports centre, the Leonardo campus with the Art Academy and facilities of Münster’s University of Applied Sciences as well as many departments of the science and medical studies.

The Da Vinci canteen is only 1.6 km away and the Mensa am Ring 2 km. Here you will also find the Viva Campus Café. The social counselling service of the Studierendenwerk, located in the nearby Wilhelmskamp dormitory, will be happy to help and advice. The distance between the student residence at Horstmarer Landweg and the administration of the University of Münster at Schlossplatz 2, is approx. 3.5 km.
