    Culture tutor

    Malina Spieker
My name is Malina (she/her) and I am the cultural tutor at BIK. That means I organize cultural events such as Open Stages, Poetry Slams, Dance Days, etc. I am a cultural tutor because I can implement everything I love most: culture, literature, music, dance, queerness/ diversity … Getting to know people who like culture events and being able to connect them to each other is what I enjoy the most! If you would like to contact me, please send me a message at [email protected]

  • Diversity

In order to reach as many students as possible with our events, we offer them for diverse target groups. For example, in the area of diversity we currently have specific events for students with chronic illnesses, disabled students and queer students.

    Your contact persons:

My name is Mai, my pronouns are she/they and I am a diversity tutor. My events are the Friendship Speed Dating and the Queer Stammtisch. For me, being queer is all about acceptance, community and pride. So I thought, why not create a safe space for other queer people? Since I am queer myself, it is especially close to my heart to make sure that there are also opportunities to network and exchange with other queer people during my studies. If you have any questions, you can contact me at [email protected].

I’m Anna, I come from Italy and I organize the italian Stammtisch twice a month. Also you can find me meeting new people at the Friendship Speeddating. I work as a tutor because i like to do activities with other students.
My goal in working as a tutor is to enlighten about different handicaps, through some trips and activities, I am also deaf and visually impaired.
I look forward to meet you! Contact me via [email protected].

  • Franco-German Voluntary Service

As part of the Franco-German Voluntary Service, the BIK has been supported by a volunteer from France for 10 months at a time since 2017. The partner placement is the Romance Seminar at the University of Münster. The project was initiated by the German-French Youth Office (DFJW). The volunteer supports the BIK in everyday office work and is responsible for their own projects, such as the French regulars’table. In order to strengthen the German-French friendship, BIK also cooperates with the twin city of Orléans and organises student exchanges.
