The “Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Studierendenwerke NRW” (ARGE) published a statement on April 7, 2026 regarding its future contact with elected representatives in the state parliament. According to this statement, the ARGE, while maintaining its party-political neutrality, rejects cooperation with parties that are under observation by the Office for the Protection of the Constitution. Talks with AfD functionaries will therefore only take place if they are absolutely necessary in parliamentary proceedings.
