The Boeselagerstrasse residential complex is currently the largest student passive house development in Europe. It was awarded a prize in the 2009 NRW state competition for innovative forms of housing. The passive house estate consists of four differently designed building blocks and offers attractive living space for groups of 3 or 5 people as well as for individuals and student couples. It impresses with its high quality of living and flexible floor plans.

The residential complex is located near the Aasee, Münster’s central recreational area, and has good connections to the city center. Münster University Hospital is about 3.6 km away. The Mensa am Aasee, the Hier und Jetzt, the BAföG office, Student Accomodation and the Studierendenwerk administration are located around 2.8 km from the residence.
