The Student Support Services Münster operates in the legal form of an institution incorporated under public law. Our duties are statutorily determined in the Student Support Services Legislation of the State of North-Rhine Westphalia – StWG of 16 September 2014 – and in our charter.
Two bodies – the management board and the supervisory board – are responsible for the company management and supervision
The position of Managing Director of the Studierendenwerk Münster is currently vacant. A committee consisting of Achim Wiese, Deputy Managing Director, Frederick Beilicke, Facility Management, Antonia Remmeke, Internal Auditing, and Petra Schnorrenberg, Commercial Department, has taken over as acting director.
The employees of the higher education institutions and the Student Support Services, a representative of the public and – last but not least – also students are members of the supervisory board in order to guide the activities of the Student Support Services.
The members of the supervisory board are elected every two years by the Rectorate, the Senate, the Student Parliament and the Staff Assembly.
