Meetings and overnight stays
Immediately after almost all coronavirus restrictions were lifted in April 2022, both the accommodation and conference business picked up again. Although the first three months were exceptionally weak in terms of revenue, total revenue in the “Hotel & Conferences” segment was even higher than in the reference year 2019.

agora: am Aasee
The agora: am Aasee is located directly at the upper end of the Aasee, the central recreational area on the edge of Münster’s city center. The hotel is certified with 3 stars superior by the German Hotel and Restaurant Association (DEHOGA). The hotel was completely renovated in 2021. The rooms were completely redesigned and equipped with air conditioning and fast WiFi. In addition, 7 single rooms were converted into double rooms, so that the 25 rooms are now divided into 7 single rooms, 10 double rooms and 8 spacious maisonette rooms ranging in size from 50 m² to 70 m². These top-floor apartments, which extend over two floors, are also equipped with a kitchenette and offer a unique view over the Aasee and the adjacent promenade.
The agora: am Aasee is aimed in particular at overnight and conference guests of the universities. However, other business travelers and conference participants from the adjacent conference area are also very welcome. At weekends, the hotel is increasingly frequented by tourists and private groups (family reunions, wedding guests, etc.).
Conferences
The seminar area was expanded in 2022, so that the conference center at Bismarckallee 11b has a total area of approx. 490 m² since September of that year. There are now a total of 6 seminar rooms with a size of 12 m² for the smallest and 106 m² for the largest room. A further room of approx. 60 m² is located in the Hotel SeeZeit at Bismarckallee 47. All rooms are marketed and coordinated by Hotel agora: am Aasee. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, the rooms offer the ideal setting for conferences, training courses, seminars, smaller meetings and larger gatherings.
SeeZeit
The SeeZeit, also located directly on the Aasee, but 450 m from the agora: am Aasee and the hustle and bustle of the city center, offers guests an ideal setting in which to relax and unwind. The 23 rooms are divided into 2 single rooms, 17 double rooms, 2 comfort double rooms and 2 exclusive double rooms. All rooms are stylish, high-quality and modern. The comfort and exclusive double rooms offer a unique view of the Aasee through their large floor-to-ceiling windows and are a very special highlight at any time of year. Like the agora, the SeeZeit is also certified with 3 stars superior by the German Hotel and Restaurant Association.
The adjoining guest house with 13 rooms offers a cost-effective alternative to hotel accommodation. These are simply furnished rooms that only have washing facilities, while the showers and toilets are located on the respective floor.
